Peter Carver

ASSOCIATE Director
Profile

Peter is a Chartered Engineer with over 18 years’ experience delivering high-profile highway and traffic engineering projects for both the public and private sectors across the UK.

Peter is the project director for numerous high-profile highway projects across London including Southbank Place, Battersea Power Station, London Development Project, Rathbone Square and Nine Elms Parkside. One of Peter’s core strengths is managing conflicting stakeholder requirements where disparate needs and objectives must be balanced. Peter joined Steer from JMP/Systra where he was responsible for providing expert advice to policy makers, service procurers, funders and regulators, transport enterprises and private sector investors.

At Steer, Peter is the team manager for the integrated design team. He leads our Highway Design offer for the implementation of highway engineering improvement schemes, which are constructed on behalf of public sector clients and major developers under Section 106 and Section 278 Agreements.
